About OCSEIA

The people who unite to protect children online.

The Ontario Child Sexual Exploitation Investigators Association is a non-profit whose purpose is to contribute to the elimination of online child exploitation — by bringing together investigators and legal, technical, and child-welfare advocates from across Ontario to share skills, knowledge, and expertise.

Our mission

Uniting those who investigate, protecting those affected.

OCSEIA is the proud and primary private supporter of Ontario’s Provincial Strategy, established in 2006. The Strategy enables seamless joint investigations of offences that know no boundaries — helping agencies act as a single team to find and protect child victims.

Why a coordinated approach

Online exploitation crosses jurisdictions, platforms, and borders. A province-wide approach lets investigators share what works and move faster — together achieving what no single agency could alone.

Board & governance

Accountable, transparent leadership.

OCSEIA is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors of 10–15 members drawn from the membership. Its Executive — President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer — leads the association, with the remaining members serving as Directors. Elections, meetings, finances, member conduct, and amendments are all governed by the OCSEIA charter, keeping the association accountable to its members.
